Compare filters, separation and waste
Price the recurring work after dust enters the machineCyclones, filter media and bins divide the material stream. None removes the need to inspect seals, clean filters and empty waste without creating another uncontrolled mess.
01
Filter
Read the media claim precisely
A micron or HEPA label may describe filter media, a tested filter or the complete sealed system differently. Keep the exact claim and test basis visible.
- Loading
- Ask how pressure and airflow change as the filter loads and how the product signals or restores service.
- Replacement
- Price genuine filters and confirm current availability, fit and cleaning limits.
02
Separation
Inspect what reaches the final filter
Cyclone and separator behavior changes with particle mix, airflow, leaks and bin state. Better separation can reduce filter loading but is not zero maintenance.
- Seals
- A leak can bypass the intended collection path even when the filter media is capable.
- Inspection
- Keep access to the impeller, cyclone, filter and seals in the placement plan.
03
Waste
Choose the emptying routine deliberately
Bags, drums, bins and liners trade capacity, visibility, dust exposure, lifting and recurring consumables.
- Path
- Measure the space needed to remove a full container without moving the collector or opening the system awkwardly.
- Disposal
- Plan handling and disposal under the shop's workplace and local requirements.
