Compare navigation, image, environment and data
Separate the live path from the recorded evidenceProbe geometry, live display and recorded files are different parts of the system. Compare each under the same cavity, lighting, bend and environmental conditions.

Navigation
Test bends and recentering
Compare head size, cable length, stiffness, articulation range, lock, joystick response and ability to return to neutral.
- Retrieval
- The probe must withdraw through the same path with accessories secured.
- Wear
- Articulation wires, sheaths and camera windows need inspection and service.

Image
Record each resolution honestly
Separate probe sensor, live display, still image and video resolution plus frame rate, compression and timestamp behavior.
- Light
- Brightness range, glare and close-focus bloom can matter more than pixel count.
- Transfer
- Verify card, USB, app, file naming, annotation and export on the actual system.

Environment
Read every rating boundary
Match probe and display ingress, fluid compatibility, operating temperature and hazardous-location status separately.
- IP
- An IP-rated probe does not make the display, connector or complete system submersible.
- Hazard
- A normal inspection camera is not intrinsically safe or an electrical tester.
