Market guide
Compare resolution, memory, triggers and licenses
Read specifications under the same acquisition conditionsADC bits, high-resolution modes, waveform rate, memory and protocol decode describe different capabilities. Compare them at the exact channel count, timebase and option state used for the work.
01
Acquisition
Separate native from processed resolution
Record native ADC resolution, bandwidth limits, noise, averaging and high-resolution processing conditions.
- Noise
- More bits do not guarantee lower system noise or better effective resolution.
- Rate
- Waveform update claims depend on record length, display, trigger and acquisition mode.
02
Memory
Plan capture and search together
Deep memory is useful only if navigation, segmentation, history, measurements and export can find the event efficiently.
- Segments
- Segmented memory can retain many triggered events while omitting idle time.
- Export
- Verify file formats, network paths, APIs and software support with a representative record.
03
Options
Price the configured instrument
Bandwidth, digital channels, generators, power analysis, serial decode, compliance and application packages can be licensed separately.
- Permanent
- Distinguish permanent, subscription, trial and time-limited options.
- Upgrade
- A hardware ceiling or promised future option is not included performance today.
