Market guide
Verify leads, fuses, calibration and work
Buy and commission the complete measurement systemBefore first consequential use, verify the exact package, input protection, calibration evidence, accessories, service route and employer procedure.
01
Package
Inspect the complete input assembly
Confirm exact meter revision, leads, guards, clips, probes, thermocouple, adapter, case, batteries and manual.
- Fuses
- Use only the specified high-energy replacement parts and follow the lead-removal and case-opening procedure.

- The lowest-rated probe, tip exposure, accessory or connection controls the complete assembly boundary.
02
Calibration
Name the required evidence
Decide whether the work requires a factory test report, traceable certificate, accredited calibration, as-found data or a recurring interval.
- Service
- Record authorized service, turnaround, parts, warranty and the consequence of opening the meter.
- Check
- Test known safe sources and functions before approving the meter for consequential work.
03
Procedure
Commission it inside the work system
Document jack selection, proving, de-energization, lockout, PPE, approach, one-hand or remote methods and recordkeeping.
- Training

- Boundary
- No instrument can guarantee safe energized work, diagnosis, repair success or absence of hazardous energy.
