Compare accuracy, functions and recording
Read the full measurement conditionsSimilar-looking meters can serve different industrial, electrical, HVAC, electronics and logging jobs. Compare the specification table and workflow, not a feature count.
01
Accuracy
Read range, digits and environment
Compare the basic term, added counts, range, resolution, temperature coefficient and calibration interval for the actual signal.
- AC
- Retain bandwidth, low-frequency floor, crest factor and filter conditions.
- Speed
- Display rate, bar graph, continuity response and peak capture address different transient events.
02
Functions
Separate electrical and electronics tools
LoZ, drive filters, temperature, flame-sensor microamps, conductance, dB, duty and pulse functions should map to a real task.
- Loading
- LoZ can suppress ghost voltage because it loads the circuit; it is not interchangeable with the normal input.
- Accessory
- Clamp probes, thermocouples and communication adapters have independent range, isolation and accuracy limits.
03
Recording
Resolve logger and connection behavior
Distinguish local Min/Max, time-stamped internal logging, live app viewing and isolated computer capture.
- Software
- Check cable, adapter, account, operating system, export format and current support.
- Boundary
- A stored trend remains only as reliable as the range, sample interval, connection, clock, battery and procedure.
