26.9-inch 3840 x 2160 60 Hz IPS LCD with wide-gamut LED backlight, 99% Adobe RGB claim, 10-bit input, 16-bit LUT, Digital Uniformity Equalizer and 1000:1 stated contrast. It has no local dimming or OLED pixels. ColorNavigator 7 performs hardware calibration with a separately purchased supported colorimeter or spectrophotometer. Instrument spectral suitability, correction, target, profile and application color management are essential parts of the purchase. The panel is specified at 350 cd/m2 and has no HDR transfer-function or local-dimming claim in the current specification. It is an SDR color-management display, not an HDR grading reference. USB-C carries DisplayPort, USB and 60 W power, with DisplayPort, HDMI, USB-B and downstream USB. It has no SDI, Ethernet or clean-feed bypass.
ColorNavigator and instrument driver support, ICC profile handling, 10-bit output, OS scaling, firmware and application settings must be validated. Typical power is 36 W and maximum is 168 W including host charging. The ergonomic stand and cables are included; a hood and external meter are separate. Record the exact instrument and correction used, because two CS2740 panels with different meters are not an automatically matched pair. EIZO supplies current U.S. support, a five-year limited warranty and ColorEdge pixel provisions under terms.
