Choose the pump and ownership branch from real job frequency and accessAnnual-gallon labels and maximum output are rough segmentation tools, not uptime guarantees. Compare the way the sprayer moves, feeds, cleans, services and recovers across the jobs that justify it.
Duty
Describe the actual job pattern
Record coating type, gallons per job, daily starts and stops, hose runs, elevation, crew size, finish demand and cleanup windows rather than relying on one annual volume number.
- Direct feed
- Verify pail size, suction set, priming and whether small leftover quantities create avoidable waste.
- Multi-gun
- A second-gun claim needs the supported tip, hose, pressure and combined-flow conditions.
Transport
Fit power, weight and access to the site
Stand, cart, high-rider, low-boy, cordless and gas systems solve different stairs, vehicles, pails and no-grid work. Include batteries, chargers, fuel, extension leads and weather protection.
- Cordless
- Runtime and output depend on battery, coating, tip, pressure, temperature and cycling.
- Gas
- Combustion equipment stays outdoors with carbon-monoxide, fuel, heat and ignition controls.
Service
Price the pump and wear path
Compare packings, inlet and outlet valves, filters, prime valve, gun, hose and pump-replacement procedure with local parts and warranty labor.
- Fast service
- A field-replaceable pump reduces one repair step but does not establish reliability or zero downtime.
- Fleet
- Connected location, hours or pressure data can aid maintenance but adds accounts, firmware, connectivity and privacy conditions.
