Market guide

Bring a real project to the dealer

A test-sew plan for fabric, bulk, hooping, placement and interface

Dealer demonstrations often show the machine at its easiest. Bring the difficult fabric, largest quilt section, densest design and garment opening that will expose a mismatch.

01

Sew

Use the seam that causes trouble now

Test feeding across layers, fine fabric, curves, buttonholes and the speed you actually use. Listen to the machine and change settings yourself.

Control
Thread, wind a bobbin, change feet and recover from an error.
Visibility
Check the needle area and screen from your chair.
02

Quilt

Move real bulk through the throat

A throat dimension does not describe drag, table support or hand position. Test free motion, regulation and walking-foot work on a realistic sandwich.

Space
Include the table and cabinet in the test.
Regulation
Feel the foot, sensor and preferred stitch length.
03

Embroider

Hoop the awkward item

Load a design, place it with the camera or projector, check the back of the hoop and change thread. Finished garments reveal access limits quickly.

Field
Use the largest routine design, not the largest available hoop.
Software
Transfer a file from the device you own.
