Delivery
Separate production from faucet experience
Record rated production, storage volume, dispensing flow, refill behavior and performance at the home's feed pressure and temperature.
- Tank
- A pressure tank provides a fast draw but loses usable volume as pressure falls.
- Tankless
- Powered flow depends on electricity, pump, membrane condition and control state.

Efficiency
Compare recovery under the same conditions
Retain the feed-to-treated ratio, reject route and any efficiency certification or test basis.
- Drain
- Reject water needs a code-compliant air-gap or approved connection and should not be silently called waste-free.
- Pretreatment
- Hardness, iron, sediment, chlorine or chloramine can change membrane life and recovery.

Ownership
Build the replacement schedule
Price exact cartridges, membrane, remineralization media, UV lamp if present, batteries, sanitation and service over five years.
- Availability
- Proprietary quick-change filters simplify service but create vendor dependence.
- Monitor
- A filter-life indicator or TDS sensor is not a complete water-quality test.
