Your place in the market

Start with the questions that remove bad fits

Know the basicsTest the shortlist against the complete ownership choice

Compare pan detection, zone and bridge geometry, power sharing, local controls, connected features, cleaning and repair

01

Before the shortlist

The first four answers do most of the work

A useful ranking starts only after the constraints specific to this market are clear.

  1. 01

What finished cutout, counter material and thickness, support, edge distance, ventilation space and approved appliance combination are available?

  2. 02

Which pan diameters, materials and simultaneous cooking positions must the zone, bridge or flexible layout recognize and support?

  3. 03

Does a qualified electrician confirm that the dedicated circuit, conductors, junction, grounding and disconnect match the exact nameplate and guide?

  4. 04

Can every user operate the cooktop locally and safely, and is qualified local service available for glass, controls, power electronics and cooling parts?

Buying paths

The shortlist covers different ways to own the product

A useful market view needs a credible answer for each common budget, setup, and ownership pattern. These are the paths represented in the current desk.

011 known option · 0 fully checked

Compact 24-inch induction

The compact built-in branch is retained on its own because its cutout, pan spacing, total power and cabinet use are not equivalent to a 30-inch cooktop

041 known option · 1 fully checked

Integrated induction downdraft

The integrated extractor branch preserves deep cabinet and counter work, duct or recirculation design, filter access, make-up air and actual plume capture without treating nominal cfm as an outcome

051 known option · 1 fully checked

Full-surface free placement

The premium full-surface branch is compared by exact supported vessel count, diameter, transfer behavior, total power, display, service access and local dealer support

0925 known options · 15 fully checked

Complete cutout, circuit, service and safety boundary

Every tracked cooktop preserves exact counter and cutout, support, zone and cookware geometry, boost sharing, 240 or 208 V nameplate, junction, ventilation, local and app control, privacy, glass care, service, fire, electrical, implant and no cooking or reliability guarantee

Market language

The terms a useful comparison should define

Pan detection
The cooktop's process for recognizing compatible cookware of a supported material and size; recognition can vary by pan base and zone position
Bridge zone
Two defined induction zones that can be controlled together for suitable long cookware while retaining documented placement and power limits
Flexible zone
A larger sensing area that can assign compatible pans within bounded positions; it is not an unrestricted heated surface
Power sharing
The way paired or grouped zones divide the cooktop's available electrical power when several positions request high output
Residual heat
Heat left in the glass by hot cookware even though induction energy is produced in the pan; indicators reduce risk but do not prove a safe touch temperature
