Install and check a counter-depth refrigerator

Verify the exact model, opening, utilities, delivery, leveling, doors, temperatures, water, ice and service access

Commission the refrigerator while the delivery team and return window remain available. Match the exact model, inspect freight condition, document the opening and utilities, level the cabinet, then record doors, drawers, temperatures, water, ice, alarms and local controls after the system has stabilized.

Protect the refrigerator and kitchen

Verify model, suffix, finish, handles, filters and included parts before removing packaging. Inspect doors, glass, liners, wiring and tubing, then use a protected route and enough handlers for the exact weight and turns.

Photograph the final fit
Record floor, opening, rear clearance, outlet, shutoff, tubing, anti-tip or bracket work where specified, leveling feet and door projection before the unit is fully loaded.
Retain recall identifiers
Photograph model and serial labels for Samsung RF24BB6600, Samsung RF23DB9700, Frigidaire GRMC2273CF or Whirlpool WRQA59CNKZ and keep them searchable for future safety notices.

Test access, temperatures, water and controls

Level the cabinet and doors, check seals, verify drawer and shelf removal, purge the water line, inspect connections for leaks and record independent refrigerator and freezer thermometer readings after stabilization.

Exercise every local function
Test lights, alarms, control lock, dispenser, pitcher or ice maker, filter status and each door or drawer without the app. Recheck leaks after ice and water have cycled.
Configure connected features last
After core cooling works, document accounts, permissions, privacy settings, firmware, notifications and reset or transfer steps. A successful app setup does not prove temperature or preservation.

Handoff

Leave a food-safety and service record

Keep receipt, serial, manuals, delivery and plumbing records, filter model, temperature baseline, cleaning schedule and authorized service contact. Define who protects stored food and the room during service.

Plan for unsafe temperatures and outages
Follow current FoodSafety.gov time and temperature guidance, keep doors closed, use independent thermometers and discard food when safety cannot be established.
Do not certify future performance
A clean installation test does not guarantee temperature uniformity, ice output, water quality, quietness, energy use, app continuity, food preservation, durability, reliability or repair outcome.
