The outdoor array measures temperature, humidity, cup wind speed, vane direction, tipping-bucket rain, UV and solar radiation; the separate indoor sensor provides pressure and room conditions to the TFT console. Optional soil, leak, particulate and lightning channels are not included measurements. Outdoor and optional sensors use the exact U.S. radio channel and manual-specific intervals; the console's frequently refreshed screen does not make each sensor or AWN point equally frequent. Check channel contention and repeater or sensor limits before expansion. Retain the WS-2000 manual's exact channel tables and calibration limits, including wind start, rain resolution and UV or solar qualifications. A high-resolution TFT readout is not evidence of matching sensor accuracy or climate-grade performance.
The console can calibrate parameters, so keep a change log and use representative comparisons rather than tuning readings to a convenient app. Clean and level rain hardware, inspect moving wind parts and shield, renew batteries and verify pressure elevation after moves. A detailed display does not reduce mast, ladder, roof, electrical-line or lightning hazards.
