Market guide
Install and commission the front-load washer and dryer
Confirm delivery, utilities, stacking, leveling, venting, drainage, test loads and service records before handoffCommission the delivered suffixes before the crew leaves and before the return window narrows. Keep shipping hardware, invoices and photographs, then witness water, drain, spin, heat, exhaust or condensate and every required control with small test loads.
Receive
Verify the exact pair and installation parts
Match both model and suffix labels to the order. Inspect cabinets, doors, cords, hoses, vent parts, condensate parts and stacking kit. Photograph serials and damage before cabinets enter the opening.
- Pair pricing can omit essential parts
- Samsung and Electrolux listings may exclude dryer cord, water hoses, duct, stacking kit, gas work, delivery or haul-away. Reconcile every line item before acceptance.
- Keep transit hardware
- Remove washer shipping bolts exactly as directed and retain them for a future move. Operating with transit hardware or moving without it can damage the system.
Install
Witness water, drain, power and airflow
Confirm valve condition, hose seating, standpipe insertion and air gap, dedicated outlets, polarity or grounding, cord and strain relief, rigid metal exhaust or condensate route, clear filters and stable approved stacking.
- Leveling is a loaded test
- Run spin with a balanced damp load and recheck all feet, floor movement and cabinet contact. An empty spin cannot reveal every vibration path.
- Ventless still moves moisture
- Miele and Bosch heat-pump pairs need a verified condensate path and clean filters. Check for leaks and drainage under a real drying cycle.
Handoff
Record a clean baseline and safety routine
Run rinse and dry tests, check exterior airflow where vented, inspect every connection and log noise, time and errors. Register both units and write the gasket, dispenser, filter, lint, duct or heat-exchanger schedule.
- Test local operation before accounts
- Confirm every essential Samsung or connected control at the appliance before adding Wi-Fi, household sharing or remote permissions.
- Stop for water, odor or abnormal heat
- Software alerts cannot detect every leak, blocked exhaust, electrical fault or hot surface. Shut down and investigate rather than repeating a failing cycle.
