Market guide

Measure the user and workstation

Define chair fit from the person and desk

A chair cannot be selected from height or a weight limit alone. Body proportions, desk and keyboard geometry, floor, work pattern, movement preference and a real sitting trial determine whether the adjustment range is useful.

01

Person

Record the measurements that affect fit

Measure lower-leg length with work shoes, thigh length, hip width, elbow height and the intended seated and reclined postures.

Seat
The feet need stable support while the seat edge avoids pressure behind the knees.
Width
Seat and arm spacing must fit without forcing the elbows or leaving the controls unreachable.
02

Desk

Map the complete workstation

Measure keyboard, pointing device, desk underside, monitor, footrest and arm clearance. A chair cannot repair a desk that is too high or a keyboard placed too far away.

Arms
Test whether the selected arms clear the desk and support the actual input position.
Floor
Choose casters or glides for the floor and confirm rolling resistance and stability.
03

Work

Describe movement and duration

Record concentrated typing, calls, drawing, reclining, forward work, shared users and how often posture changes.

Trial
Use the exact configured chair for a representative session rather than a short showroom sit.
Boundary
No adjustment count or ergonomic label guarantees comfort, posture, pain relief, productivity or a medical outcome.
