Measure user, room and equipment
Define the final desk geometry before comparing modelsA frame range is not the user's keyboard range. The selected top, floor, shoes, chair, casters, input devices and accessories determine whether seated and standing work positions are available.
01
User
Measure final working heights
Measure seated and standing elbow and keyboard positions for every regular user, including chair, foot support, shoes and any walking surface.
- Top
- Add the exact worktop thickness and any caster or treadmill height to the bare-frame range.
- Shared
- Confirm each user can reach controls and restore presets without moving mounted equipment into a hazard.
02
Room
Map footprint and travel
Measure top width and depth, wall, door, chair and knee clearance, walking route and the full raised travel envelope.
- Reach
- Place keyboard, pointing device, documents and frequently used controls within the intended seated and standing reach.
- Clearance
- Check shelves, windows, radiators, wall art and doors at every saved height.
03
Equipment
Build the loaded workstation
List the top, computers, displays, arms, speakers, power, drawers, shelves and equipment that travel with the desk.
- Clamp
- Verify top thickness, edge shape, reinforcement and underside clearance for each monitor arm or accessory.
- Boundary
- Height adjustment does not guarantee comfort, posture, health, pain relief, safety, focus or productivity.
