Portable 120V or home 240V
Choose between extension-cord backup and a designed connection to selected home circuitsA receptacle-powered station and a panel-connected home backup system can share a battery chemistry while creating different electrical projects. Voltage, neutral behavior, grounding, transfer equipment and installation must match the intended connection.
Plug-in
Keep a portable plan explicit
An ordinary 120-volt station can support selected plug loads through suitable cords and power distribution. It does not energize hardwired circuits or 240-volt appliances by implication.

- Keep cords protected, visible and suitably rated.
Dual voltage
A 240V outlet is not a home installation
Split-phase output may support a well pump, dryer receptacle or transfer product. The exact station, hub, inlet and transfer equipment decide what is permitted and how it behaves.

- Use compatible listed equipment and qualified site work.
- Verify
- Confirm neutral and grounding behavior for the exact configuration.
Panel
Choose the circuits before the battery
A circuit list exposes whether stored energy, inverter output and simultaneous loads are realistic. It also separates essential backup from an expensive attempt to imitate the whole grid.

- Protect refrigeration, communications and necessary pumps first.

- Test loss and restoration with the installer.
