Heater, bench, door and ventilation
Treat the room and heater as one specified systemHeater output, sensor position, clearances, bench geometry, door and ventilation interact. Generic rules cannot replace the exact current manuals or the judgment of qualified installers for the site.
01
Heater
Keep every component in one approved design
Room volume, heater, stones, guard, control, sensor and ventilation must match the manufacturer's current instructions. Similar model names can use different requirements.
- Exact
- Freeze model numbers and manual revisions on the quote.
- Installer
- Have a qualified sauna installer and electrician verify the complete design before purchase.
02
Geometry
Build the seating and clearances on paper
Bench height and depth affect use, while heater and guard clearances affect what can safely fit. Do not infer structural support from room dimensions.
- Draw
- Dimension the benches, door, heater, guard, sensor, lights and vents together.
- Structure
- Refer load, attachment, floor and building questions to qualified local professionals.
03
Air
Use the ventilation plan for the exact system
Supply, exhaust, drying and sensor placement depend on the heater and whether ventilation is mechanical or gravity-based. Moving a vent can affect sensor operation.
- Manual
- Follow the exact heater and room diagrams rather than a generic online layout.
- Commission
- Have the installer verify airflow, controls and shutoff behavior before normal use.
