Market language

The terms a useful comparison should define

EVSE
Supply equipment that safely delivers AC power to the vehicle; the vehicle's onboard charger determines how much AC power it can convert
Continuous load
EV charging is generally sized as a continuous electrical load, so circuit and output current must follow the applicable code and manufacturer instructions
Load management
A documented control system that limits or shares current across a service or several stations; it requires exact compatible hardware, configuration and approval
NACS and J1772
Different vehicle connector paths whose native inlet, approved adapter, latch, cable and charging support must be verified for the exact vehicle
