Market guide

Compare heat, flow and cleaning

Judge the complete brew day from strike water through a clean, dry system

Heater wattage matters, but so do element control, pump path, dead space, grain basket, filters, chiller, fittings and access for cleaning. A faster boil does not automatically create a better or shorter brew day.

01

Heat

Compare time and control with the exact supply

The same product family may use different power by region. Estimate heat-up and boil behavior on the voltage and amperage that will actually be installed.

Control
Review manual operation as well as app, recipe and automation features.
Recovery
Confirm how the system behaves after a power, sensor or connectivity interruption.
02

Flow

Trace wort through every restriction

Pumps, grain beds, filters, valves, hoses and chillers affect recirculation and transfer. Grain crush and recipe can change the result more than a published free-flow number.

Chilling
Attach performance to tap-water temperature, flow and the intended final wort temperature.
Clogs
Check safe access to filters and pump paths when hot liquid is present.
03

Cleaning

Read the cleaning procedure before buying

Clean-in-place language still requires draining, rinsing, chemicals, disassembly and drying. Small passages, pumps and chillers need a repeatable sanitation path.

Time
Include cleanup and drying in the real brew-day duration.
Parts
Verify seals, pumps, sensors, controllers, baskets and fittings can be replaced in the ownership region.
