Choose torque and platform
Match the wheelbase to the games, platform, cockpit and driverPeak torque is not a universal quality score. A lower-torque base on a rigid mount with good software can be more useful than a flagship motor that flexes the rig or excludes the required console.

Platform
Compatibility begins with the whole chain
Console support can depend on the base, steering wheel or licensed bundle. PC mixing is broader but still needs separate USB ports and game support.

- Check every required title and platform version.
- Peripherals
- Map pedals, shifter and handbrake connections.

Torque
Choose a controllable operating range
A 15 or 25 Nm label describes capacity, not the setting every driver should use. Wheel diameter, car type, clipping and physical strength change useful output.
- Start
- Commission at a conservative limit.
- Stop
- Keep torque-off within immediate reach.

Mount
The cockpit is part of force feedback
Desk clamps, wheel stands and aluminum-profile rigs absorb different loads. Flex blurs detail and movement can become unsafe.
- Pattern
- Confirm the exact mounting holes and plate.
- Seat
- Include seat and pedal movement under braking.
