Plan spectrum and channel count
Start with legal spectrum, local RF use and the simultaneous systemA wireless family is useful only when the exact regional hardware can operate legally and reliably enough in the places that matter. Count every channel and venue before choosing a receiver or capsule.
Rules
Anchor the plan to the exact region
Frequency ranges, power, licensing, certification and protected segments differ by country and hardware variant. A family name does not make every tuning band legal or interchangeable.
- SKU
- Retain the complete band code for every transmitter and receiver, especially when buying used.
- Travel
- Repeat the frequency and certification check for every country or region where the system will operate.
Channels
Count simultaneous links and neighboring systems
Include microphones, instrument packs, intercom, in-ear monitors, camera links and visiting systems. A published maximum channel count is conditional on the band, spacing mode, local occupancy and antenna system.
- Inventory
- Keep spare and guest channels visible instead of treating them as free capacity.
- Coordination
- Use current scans, television data and coordination software as inputs, not guarantees.
Eligibility
Separate unlicensed and licensed operation
Professional work does not automatically establish eligibility for licensed wireless-microphone operation. Keep the current rule, venue facts and any application with the system record.
