Market guide
Chamber, pump and duty cycle
Choose from the food, pouch and weekly cycles rather than maximum vacuum aloneA chamber sealer must hold the routine product, close the bag opening and repeat cycles at the pace of the work. Pump type matters, but chamber geometry and duty often eliminate more machines first.
01
Fit
Use the largest routine package
A listed chamber width does not guarantee a tall jar, thick roast or broad pouch will sit correctly under the lid and across the bar.
- Template
- Mock up usable length, width, height and seal-bar position.
- Bag
- Keep the open end flat and clean across the bar.
02
Pump
Dry and oil pumps serve different routines
Dry pumps avoid oil service and suit lighter duty. Oil pumps commonly support deeper, repeated commercial cycles while adding checks and changes.
- Duty
- Ask about consecutive cycles, not only ultimate vacuum.
- Service
- Price oil, filters and a technician path where applicable.
03
Pace
Cycle time includes human work
Loading, arranging, wiping, sealing and unloading can take longer than the vacuum program. More seal bars help only when the operator can keep them supplied.
- Time
- Run the intended batch from preparation through storage.
- Scale
- Buy throughput after measuring the present bottleneck.
